Today in Ranna-Banna we are going to share our first recipe. We are about to learn a sweet dish, because every good thing should begin with a touch of sweet. Today we will learn how to make Chhanar Payesh | ছানার পায়েস.

“Chhanar Payesh” is a very favourite sweet dish to most Bengalis. You can make it very easily in a short amount of time. The ingredients which you will need to make “Chhanar Payesh” are…

INGREDIENTS :



– Dry Chhana : 500gm
– Sugar : 100-150gm
– Milk Maid or Condensed Milk
– Good Quality Rose Water : 2-3 Spoon
– Cardamom Powder : To taste
– Milk : 2-3 Table Spoon
– For garnishing : Chopped Cashew & Pistachio and Rose Petals

METHOD :

First, take half amount of chhana and mix sugar with it and stir it well. After it is done, mix the rest of the chhana and stir again. Then add a good amount of Milk Maid or Condensed Milk. Then add 2-3 spoon of good quality rose water and add cardamom powder.

In the end, add 2-3 table spoons of milk and boil till Chhanar Payesh is made. Garnish with a little amount of chopped cashew & pistachios and rose petals and serve.
