Ingredients to make Pomfret Coconut Curry are…
INGREDIENTS :
– Pomfret Fish : As per requirement
– Mustard Oil : As per requirement
– Cardamom, Cinnamon & Spunk Leaves : As per requirement
– Onion Paste, Garlic Paste : As per requirement
– Dry Chilly Powder : A bit
– Salt : To taste
– Fresh Cream
– Coconut Grind
– Chopped Coriander & Green Chilies : A bit
– For garnishing : Chopped Coriander & Green Chilies and Coconut Grind
METHOD :
Firstly spread salt on the pomfrets and fry them in mustard oil and then put out and keep them somewhere else. Then in the same oil, season the smashed cardamom, cinnamon & spunk leaves and then add onion paste, garlic paste, salt and dry chilly powder and cook for a while. After the cooking is done, after adding some fresh cream and a little amount of water, stir it well and then add coconut grind and the pomfret fries and leave it for some time to get cooked. Then again add a little amount of water and pour some chopped coriander leaves and green chilies and then cover it and put the pan down after a while of cooking. Then again a small amount of water and salt can be added if needed. Then garnish with coriander leaves, green chilies and coconut grinds as per your taste and serve the Pomfret Coconut Curry.
This item is best served with steamed or fried rice.
